POST CHALLENGE UPDATE: Big ups to everyone who submitted tracks for the 6th Gravitas Create Producer Challenge.

We got a ton of amazing entries but Oomah, Shoolace, and Ahee impressed up the most. Respect for putting in the work.

Our Neuro bass challenge had the best response so this week we are doing another track challenge with the creative restraints. You must use a set of preselected samples, BPM and given key. The idea is to help you focus on making a track using the preselected samples. Don’t go crazy with sound design or sample selection and try to get a track made as quickly as possible.

Instructions:

1. Join the Gravitas Create Facebook group if you haven’t already: https://www.facebook.com/groups/gravitascreate/
2. Download the curated Sample Pack below.
3. Create a 1:30-2:00 track in the key of F and 150 BPM using at least 5 of the supplied samples
4. Submit the track back to the Facebook group.

Gravitas will listen to the all the tracks and the top 3 will be featured on Gravitas Recordings socials (Soundcloud Playlist, FB, Twitter).
