From Kraddy: “The art of making music is a tricky one and the journey can be a very personal process. I’ve done a lot of teaching over the years with people at all different skill levels. I like to work with each student at the level they’re comfortable with and go from there. We will discuss all aspects of the composing process – inspiration, workflow, instrumentation, mixing, editing and finalizing. Each step of the process can be grown and expanded depending on the level of the student. No matter what the ability, I strive to take each composer to the next stage in their skill level and process.”
Matthew Kratz began his music career as the renowned DJ and EDM producer, Kraddy. From his work as a founding member of the infamous Glitch Mob to his solo work, Kraddy has always been known as an innovative and seminal artist. He has remixed or worked with The Beastie Boys, Sia, Korn, Rob Zombie, and Z-Trip, among others. His music has been featured in the film (Icarus), television shows (Phenoms, Beyblade), television commercials (Nike, Scion, Samsung) and movie trailers (Equalizer 2, Bad Boys 3, The Infiltrator). Most recently he composed a song for the Academy Award Best Documentary winner, “Icarus”.
